America’s Cup is a designer sneaker from luxury brand Prada.
The sneaker is named after the singular trophy called the “America’s Cup”, designed in 1851. A “deed of gift” that has been awarded to the respective winning sailing team of that challenge cycle.
“Made in Italy to the original round-toe shape with all the classic detailing… leather and mesh panels, punctuated with the label’s rubber tab on the tongue and on the heel. Fully padded with a rubber sole…” I’m sure you’ve seen this luxury shoe once or twice at your former inner city high school, the kickback and job interview.
But who knew it was specifically designed for the sport of sailing. Yes… indeed!
“America’s Cup” was a couture shoe designed for The Luna Rossa sailing team. The Luna Rossa Sailing Team will be in attendance for the 37th Challenge of Records against unstoppable New Zealand This Fall 2017.
A powerhouse in itself. The sneakers sleek design in leather and patent leather, low top and high top screams luxury, cool, and character.
It isn’t just a fashion house with nice clothing, fragrances, and footwear. It is an entire movement with roots deeply placed in the heart of Milan, and all Italy the country has to offer. Established in 1913 you’d be hard pressed to not find someone who doesn’t recognize the brand.
